Our lay visitors spend time with members of our church that are home-bound or in nursing homes once a month, deliver flowers and send cards with well wishes.

Bethany UCC has an active prayer chain - praying for others is the basis of our faith.
Prayer Shawl
Our Prayer Shawl Ministry meets on the 2nd Monday of every month at 9:30 in the lounge at Bethany Church. As we continue our ministry to knit prayer shawls, we pray for the recipients of the items we create. We knit shawls, hats, peace pals, scarves, bibs for Knitting 4 Peace. We pray for those who deliver our items; and we pray for hope, healing and peace throughout our world. They deliver the hand-made items to 71 countries around the world.
